On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 2:50 am, Lucille Pyle, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 89. Lucille was born on February 1, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Lavada and Leonel Gibson. Lucille graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School, where she was the colonel of the Scottish Brigade. She started college at Baylor University, but graduated from University of Houston. She spent her entire teaching career teaching Texas History at Beverly Hills Intermediate School. She spent 25 years teaching a subject she loved. After her retirement, she volunteered Memorial Southeast Hospital and bowling on two different teams. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and a daughter. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved well and always looked for the best in everyone. She was loved in return and we will miss her always. Because of COVID-19 we will be holding a family only service on March 25, 2020 at SouthPark Funeral Home Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
