Adrian Noel Samaniego (’11)

Adrian Noel Samaniego, 31, of Houston, TX passed away on May 20, 2020. He was born on December 31, 1988 in Houston, TX as one of two children to parents Jesus E. Samaniego, Jr. and Irma Alvarado-Samaniego. Adrian grew up in The Woodlands, TX attending The Woodlands High School where he graduated in 2007. He was an Honors student, a member of the National Honors Society, and played tennis on the Varsity Team. His entrepreneurial spirit sparked during high school and by age 16, he had launched his first business endeavor: coaching grade school children in tennis. He attended college at the University of Houston graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011 with a BBA in Entrepreneurship from the Bauer School of Business. He loved culture, fine clothes, reading, traveling, and sports, especially tennis and skeet shooting. He was also what you would call a “foodie” and enjoyed cooking. He was fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Adrian was a great story teller with an even greater sense of humor. He was very loyal to friends and family, and truly lived life the fullest. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Heriberto S. Alvarado. Adrian is survived by his mother, Dr. Irma Alvarado-Samaniego; father, Dr. Jesus E. Samaniego, Jr.; brother and family, Adam, Emily, Cecilia, and Evelyn Samaniego; grandparents, Carmen Alvarado, Jesus Samaniego, Sr. and Alicia Samaniego, and his Maternal family, Lilia Lenhart, Bob Lenhart, Clarisa Lenhart, Paul Lenhart, Blanka Angyal-Lenhart, and Gerardo Alvarado; and his Paternal family, George Samaniego, Eloisa Walker, Robert Walker, Ryan Walker, Nicole Walker, Rosalia Nolan, Michael Nolan, Johnny Samaniego and his many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be from 1:30-2:30PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, followed by a private rosary that will be live streamed on Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 3:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday May 28, 2020 at 10:00 A.M at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Please be advised that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
