Jeffrey Eliot Johnson (M.B.A ’83)

Jeffrey Eliot Johnson of Plano, Texas passed away June 20, 2020 at the age of 64. He was born on January 30, 1956 to Jack Anderson Johnson and Gloria Aline (Cobb) Johnson in McRae, Georgia. Jeff attended Auburn University where he completed his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree in 1978. In 1982, Jeff became recognized by the Texas State Board of Registration as a Professional Engineer. In 1983, Jeff completed his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Houston. Jeff worked for over 35 years in the Semiconductor Industry. He began his career as an Industrial Engineer for Texas Instruments in 1978 in Houston, Texas and later transferred to Dallas, Texas as part of the Defense Division. In 1997, he continued his work in defense as a Manufacturing Engineer for Raytheon until finishing his career as a Manufacturing Supervisor and Training Administrator at Inogen beginning in 2015. Jeff met his wife, Audrey, in 1994 and married on February 25, 1995. Jeff and Audrey had one daughter, Ashley, in 1997. In 2004, Jeff and Audrey divorced; however, they remained family and supported one another up until his passing. Jeff performed countless in-depth studies into each version of the Bible and wrote an evidence-based manuscript to support the King James Version of the Bible as the true Word of God. Jeff enjoyed attending church, evangelizing, and sharing DVDs to educate others on creation versus evolution. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Johnson of Plano, Texas; mother, Gloria Johnson; brother, Andy Johnson; nephew, Michael Johnson; ex-wife, Audrey Wright and many other loving family members and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jack Johnson and brother, David Johnson.
