Matthew Beringer (’18)

 

    Matthew “Matt” Adam Beringer was born to Tim and Jane Beringer in Dallas, Texas on September 16, 1992, where shortly after they moved to Katy. Matt passed away too soon on December 8, 2020.

          He was an exceptional athlete who loved watching football and playing a round of golf on weekends. A proud Texan, Matt graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy and then went on to graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in Construction Management.  Matt had an infectious smile, a larger than life personality and was the life of any party.

          Matt is survived by his mother, Jane Beringer; his sister, Jamie Heaney and her husband David Heaney; his brother, TJ Beringer and his wife Amy Beringer; his sister, Lindsey Rios and her husband Ruben Rios; his niece, Autumn Beringer; his nephew, Bear Rios; and numerous other loving family members and many friends.

          Matt was preceded in death by his father, Timothy “Tim” Beringer; his grandparents, Frank and Patricia Schmutte and Dutch Beringer; and his aunt, Meg Schmutte.
