Holloway Sr. and mother Olivette Dunn Holloway and survived by his brother Bruce Holloway and sister Patricia Gonzales. He enjoyed life long learning and late in life completed his bachelors degree at University of Houston. Most of his adult life he worked in retail in and around the Houston area and not to be forgotten his participation in the family business Mr. Sno Whizz. However his passion was helping others with substance abuse struggles. Early in his adult life he had problems with alcohol and drugs and found recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous. He obtained counseling certification in this and worked at Baywood Shadows Hospital until its closing. During this time he also worked with Deliverance Ministries and authored an article in Greater Houston Church Directory , “The Twelve Steps for Christians” and a pamphlet for distribution, “In His Steps”. He continued his participation with AA as long as he was physically able. He loved our Lord and Savior and hoped for the best of all those whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
