OBITUARY Gerald (Jack) Lee Pruitt June 30, 1952 April 6, 2022 IN THE CARE OF Kingwood Funeral Home Funeral services for Gerald (Jack) Lee Pruitt, 69, of Kingwood, Texas will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Humble Assembly of God Church, 1915 FM 1960 Bypass, Humble, Texas with Tom Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, April 11, 2022 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy 59 N, Kingwood, Texas. Interment will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, April 18, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gerald (Jack) was born on June 30, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents, Elmer and Viola (Francis) Pruitt. He passed away on April 6, 2022 at his home in Kingwood. Jack graduated from Broken Arrow High School and went on to receive a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and then his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston. He worked as a Petroleum Engineer for Chevron, Lomax Exploration, and Halliburton. He was a member and Vice President of New Orleans Jaycees and had a passion for golf, running, and was the Houston Astros biggest fan! He married the love of his life, Malea Adams Pruitt, and they celebrated 48 loving years together. He is survived by his wife, Malea Adams Pruitt; son, David Pruitt; daughter, Nicole Pruitt; sister, Loretta Thompson; along with numerous other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Houston Food Bank; Pancreatic Cancer Research; or a charity of your choice.
